TCH is shut down on the Isthmus

Spent a little time waiting there, but torrential rain + a brand new exhaust leak (!) + overloaded towers (cell service degraded then stopped) had me turning back. Waited for updates in Whitbourne until RCMP said closed until at least the evening, so back to town.

Water St. Is bumper to bumper, light to light, the whole length right now; very narrow as parking lanes not really plowed and cutting a few feet off either side. Can't recall it ever being so jammed up, outside of a blizzard.

Oh wow. Rain really coming down in town now, a lot of standing water on the roads around my place, can only imagine what floody-prone areas look like..

Military rd is closed off near Kings Bridge Rd.

Looks like a fire truck has a ladder up over the roof of one of the row houses, though I didn‘t see neither smoke nor flame.

Lots of emergency vehicles on site though

Snowing again, roads are /sloppy/. Busses still running, but some stops being skipped due to road conditions up around hebron way (3B).

Newfoundland drive just east of Carrick Ave is blocked. #VOCM was there and gone, so should be online soon.

After about 20min., the bus backed up the road and into someones driveway.

Road closed off around Mayor Ave. and Newtown Rd., 3-4 police cars and 3+ ambulances by my count. #nltraffic
