For those following along at home, here's my #nlnog 2026 contribution on a VPP eVPN controlplane that allows me to have clusters of DPUs running VPP to do live failover of L3 gateways across the AS8298 network, using VxLAN eVPN.

After briefly leaking the NLNOG Kahoot results, Job Snijders quickly regained his composure and presents a more philosophical talk on How to change the Internet?

Our first after-lunch talk is by Egbert Verhage of NIT Solutions. It is entitled Kubernetes for Network Engineers and discusses the internal workings and opertions of Kubernetes as a network engineer.

#nlnog 2026 in Gooitheater in Hilversum, the Netherlands, is going strong into the afternoon.

Marlies Heijkoop joins us on stage at NLNOG in Hilversum, with a talk about Networking without the Internet.

#nlnog is a wonderful event, hosted in English, highly recommended if you're in Europe and at any stage of your career in network engineering.

This is one of my favoritest things to do. I am at #nlnog in Hilversum today with 300+ network minded folks. I will be contributing a talk on eVPN with VPP at 09:30Z (11:30 localtime)
