I know I'm totally association-blasting and derailing this thread but the details under the nixies have strong vibes of the Marilyn-Manson-themed collages by Joachim Luetke (early #2000s).

About 10 or so years ago I created a PIC32 based Nixie Tube clock that consisted of a CPU board, ps/driver and IN-18 break out. Recently I converted from Eagle over to #Kicad 6 and now 7 and considering trying to move it to an ESP32 which is so much more flexible these days. It used to work once upon a time 😊 The code was in MikroeBasic as well... It used HV display drivers from a rear projection TV if I recall correctly.

More old #electronics equipment from my Ebay-enabled home lab. #NixieTubes! This 1969 #Keithley 615 #electrometer has a discrete MOSFET front-end and a dual-slope A/D made of gate-level RTL chips. The rear-panel parallel output is labeled PRINTER, because that is all you were likely to do with it in 1969. I once used it to measure the beam current of a Philips #electronMicroscope. Here it is getting the right answer for a #Victoreen 1 GΩ resistor.
