For the last couple of days I've been studying the #Nostr protocol: at first glance it seems to be much cheaper to maintain and easier to implement than the same #ActivityPub. It is more flexible to change, because all #NIP, except the first, are optional.

On the other hand, its effect in the world is a bit "messy", since each application can either save and reuse existing data and decide to duplicate and hang additional data of its own. I think it's a reasonable compromise.

There's several reasons why this could happen, as with a recent case in #Liverpool, where the proposed candidate was an anti #Starmer #Corbynista throwback to the #Militant 80s.
