(2/2) Almost simultaneously, LLLR put out a lavish 3CD release of Carmine Coppola's complete score, adding a wealth of alternate tracks as well as CC's takes on Rota's immortal Godfather themes. I have still to get ahold of it 😊 but just by the track list, I am confident this one will balance out the source music that spoiled the 1990 soundtrack album to my ears.

Francis Ford Coppola und Mario Puzo nehmen quasi eine Autopsie dessen vor, was sie im ersten Teil errichtet haben. Die Idee der Familie als Zufluchtsort. The Farewell Scene from Romeo and Juliet (1968) was released as a single 🤯 and entered The Hot 100 on 9 Aug 1969. Remix of original dialogue w/ expanded soundtrack so it doesn't quite synch up... but close enough? (Some very brief nudity has been obscured by ME to protect YOU.) Incredibly, #NinoRota's haunting music wasn't even nominated for an Oscar that year. The winner was The Lion In Winter (John Barry) which you've probably forgotten.
