I just wanted to point out that the #ABC reporting on the Victorian Govt approval for a very large windfarm project is absolutely disgraceful. For a public broadcaster with a remit to report and inform to report opposition opinions without providing the facts on the matter, is tantamount to #Lobbying on behalf of #NIMBYs and #ClimateDeniers.

The fact that this *local* *opposition* to the #WindFarm project invokes environmental concerns is especially galling given the environmental impact of their farming practices (past and present).

Dann gibt es auch verlässliche Kosten, die laut seiner Behauptung aktuell nicht vorliegen (was sie gemäß HOAI auch nicht müssen, es heißt nicht umsonst “Kostenschätzung” zum Ende der Vorplanung)

Einem Schiff, was planmäßig abgebaut & verschrottet werden sollte (zum Umweltschutz), dann plötzlich doch die Einfahrt in den Hafen zu verweigern und so eine Havarie auf dem Meer zu riskieren, ist doch für den Unweltschutz viel schlechter. Auf dem offenen Meer sind die Umwelt-Schäden bei einer unkontrollierten Havarie viel größer als im Hafen! #Egoismus #Nationalismus

In 2022 in #SanFrancisco city govt officials announced securing $1.7 million in state #taxpayer funds to build a single stall public #restroom for a five year old mini park in #NoeValley . Then the #NIMBYS heard about it ... In a city where it takes well over a 1000 days to secure #permits & #planning #permission to build desperately needed housing , this would not stand! A pile of mulch is all that's left of the dream, the funding reallocated elsewhere by #GovernorNewsom, although the bathroom was built, and is sitting in Nevada waiting for a possible delivery date.
