Hey #Filmphotography bubble, I need help with an autofocus issue on my #NikonF5. I recently got a Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 USD G1. On the F5 the autofocus does not work (moves slowly but then fails). However it does work perfectly on the F100 and also on my DSLR.
All my other lenses (AF-D and AF-S types) do work on the F5 though.

I already:
- changed batteries
- cleaned battery contacts
- cleaned lens mount contacts

I am happy for any suggestions or tips.
