A peaceful #WaybackWednesday post, to help balance the chaotic energy. I was whale watching in Monterey, when a fishing boat ( w/ a couple sea lions that hitched a ride) passed through. If you've ever been to Monterey, then you know; there are soooooo many sea lions there. They will climb onto your boats, docks, seaside restaurants, patio's etc.... whether you like it or not. 😉

I took both pics of the same dogwood tree, just 3 days apart. All of it's flowers fell that quickly. They only bloom 2-4 weeks a year. Had to rush & gather the remaining flowers, to make a batch of Dogwood (Cornus florida) flower essence. Made it just in time.
Flower essences are unlike any other type of plant medicinal. They harness the energetics of the plant. Being certified as both a clinical herbalist and an energy worker (& teacher of both) I am grateful to be able to connect fully w/ the plant, communicate/ask permission & open up to receive her wisdom, guidance & gifts. How fortunate to be here, during her bloom.
I'll be taking some bark home for a batch of tincture. Today was a good day. Only a few more here (kentucky trip) before I head home to AZ🫶

I see people everywhere , joking about and/or bashing the people on the missing submersible. Why? Their $$$ status? Some don't agree w/ how they chose to spend some of their money, so in their mind they deserve to die? They're people, who likely suffered a pretty traumatic end. Their souls are no less valuable. One of them was only 19 yrs old. Some of their families/loved ones are likely going through hell. Have we (as a society) become THIS heartless? What a tragic "civilization". We really need to work on that.
To those saying that their are other people in the world suffering/struggling worse, and that these people did this to themselves 🤦🏻♀️ :
We have to stop doing this. It's not a contest. Trauma is trauma, and it all takes a toll on the person who experiences it (& their loved ones). We (humanity) really need to actively work at injecting some compassion back into society. A world without it, is a very dark & dangerous place. -

I meant to post this on Wednesday (actual solstice) but I admittedly got caught up in other life & solstice stuff. There are things that are good to do on the day of the summer solstice. I was doing several of them. It's not too late (for some of them) if you'd like to as well.
- get a pen and paper. Write down five things that you'd still like to accomplish this year. Put it somewhere safe, but also somewhere that you will see it regularly.
-Do a sun meditation
- visualize things u are wanting to manifest
- self reflection & writing
 however you chose to spend your day, I hope that it was peaceful. Sending 🫶 from the desert 🌵
