  1. "Dejima” in Nagasaki, where the Dutch lived 385 years ago.

Three Miffy buses in a row, with the Dutch flag waving in the wind at Dejima!

It was a delightful sight! 🥰

  2. #Cosytober2025 Day 5: Yellow

Had a long (but productive) day. I’m exhausted. But I managed to squeeze in a quick drawing of Nijntje aka Miffy wearing a yellow rain coat, walking down the beach, as an homage to Coldplay’s videoclip of Yellow.

  4. Why am I obsessing over a children's bunny? Because Miffy is accidentally revolutionary. She’s the love child of Dutch modernism. And honestly, looking at how this little rabbit has captivated the world for 70 years, I think her creator cracked the code.

  6. Today's #Cosytober2024 prompt is Bunny.

I'm still working on my daily drawing. But just in case I'm not done before midnight, this is my edible entry 🤣

Tomorrow I'll also make milk chocolates bunnies, then I'll have chocolate Nijntje (Miffy) and Nina (Melanie) bunnies 😍😋

  7. A portfolio of illustrations of Miffy (“Nijntje” in the original Dutch) and book covers by Dick Bruna.

This portfolio was published by the Groninger Museum to accompany their 1996 exhibition Dick Bruna: The Smell of Success. The folder was designed by Swip Stolk, the designer for the Groninger Museum at that time.
