Hmm, I fairly recently managed to get my hands on a physical copy of #NightWitches (which was surprisingly hard to get here without paying a forty in shipping) that was the last one I had a yearning to own.

Maybe I'll cheat a little and go for the deluxe edition of 'Horror on the Orient Express' luxury KS edition..

#vendredilecture doublement particulier cette semaine, d'abord parce que c'est un bouquin de #jeuderôle, et ensuite parce que je n'ai pas encore reçu le livre dont je parle, mais je suis tellement impatient de le recevoir qu'il fallait que je vous partage le teaser !

"#NightWitches est un #JdR historique. Il vise à plonger les joueur.e.s au cœur de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Il nous met dans la peau du 588e Régiment de Bombardement Nocturne de l’#ArméeRouge. Un régiment qui était intégralement (des techniciennes jusqu’au commandantes) composé de femmes. Celles que les Allemands ont surnommées Nachthexen : les sorcières de la nuit.

Les missions de ce régiment consistaient à harceler les lignes ennemies. Pour cela, il opérait à quelques kilomètres à peine de la ligne de front pour maximiser le nombre de sorties par nuit. On estime à 1100 le nombre de missions exécutées par certaines de ses membres sur les quatre ans de service du régiment. Le tout sur des avions vieux de quinze ans et servant normalement à l’épandage aux champs. Avec un manque récurrent de sommeil et de matériel."
