Base version is the game's core book and the anotated copy of Dracula, with the actual campaign in the higher tier with some extra stuff, too.

@risa Absolutely. I don’t begrudge people the enjoyment they may draw from playing #DnD or #Pathfinder or whatever, but it does my head in how often the same problems come up, and how often they need to reinvent the wheel.
If I had three tips for D&D DMs, off the top of my head:
1. Read #DungeonWorld's GMing advice.
2. #NightsBlackAgents took conspyramids from Elizabeth Sampat. You should, too.
3. Steal montages from #13thAge, and then steal One Unique Things.

There's not just a fun game there, there's a seriously interesting and different approach to campaign planning and GMing. Not radically different, but different enough that I can see it changing the way I plan other games - or, should I get the urge, how I'd design a game of my own.
It's a brilliant piece of game design, and seems fun no matter which side of the GM screen you're on.

I'll probably write a bit about the vampires and conspiracy in another thread with a CW (just in case one of my players runs across my account), but the things I've come up with are things I genuinely find cool. I re-discovered the joy of free-associating across the expanse of Wikipedia to find connections, and what I'm cooking up seems like it would genuinely be fun if I were on the other side.
Anyways, I'm mostly rambling now, but if you haven't checked out #NIghtsBlackAgents, you should.

It's not just the VTT that's got me excited about this campaign though. So I digress.
Once I decided to do my own thing, I had a blank canvas, which is always scary to me. I've had trouble /enjoying/ writing since I stopped doing it as a job 6-7 years ago.
But the toolkit in #NIghtsBlackAgents is such a good framework for campaign design. I've long been a fan of the #Conspyramid, but I'd only ever read NBA before. Writing a campaign for it has me /excited/ again.

A couple of mods for #FoundryVTT, a nice high-res photo of a concrete wall, and the players can do the rest. It's fantastic.
The other big advantage is being able to track things like heat or chases with a visual aid. That comes in handy for me (being #ADHD as hell) and I feel like the engagement will increase for the players as well.

For instance, one of the big parts of #NightsBlackAgents is unraveling a conspiracy, which you design as the GM using the #Conspyramid. This lets the players sit down and sort out the clues and connections to figure out how to take out the bad guys.
#FoundryVTT gives me the ability to let them have their own corkboard conspiracy page, complete with red twine and photos. And because the game is all about the intersection of crime, intelligence, and corrupt governments, they'll need that.

And this has been the most fun I've had writing a campaign since that #WildTalents game. I got a lot of buy-in from players about ratcheting up the stakes and making the game a bit more serious and deadly than what we've been doing.
Another thing I'm doing that I don't typically do is running the game in #FoundryVTT. I know the system doesn't really need detailed battlemaps and such, but there's still a lot of fun stuff to do.

About 10 years ago, I ran a #WildTalents campaign that was basically a hack of the #MutantCityBlues setting. Pretty much everything the same, but a new system. It was the most fun I'd had running a campaign probably ever. A lot of great memories, and I always kind of thought that was my high point.
I've run a few campaigns and one-shots since then, but I don't think anything has got me interested like #NightsBlackAgents has.
