Diese Nacht wieder mal dem #BikeStreak wegen kurz vor Mitternacht für 'ne schnelle Runde mit dem #BromptonElectricGLine #rausgeschafft. Bin am Südrand von #Zürich #Affoltern entlang bis Holzerhurd, dann am Nordrand von #AffolternZH entlang zum Unterdorf, dann dem #Katzenbach nach bis #Seebach und dann wieder in Richtung #ZürichAffoltern.
11.2km und 101hm; #Equinoxe von #JeanMichelJarre auf den Kopfis; BikeStreak Tag 62.

Samstag dann nach #Ausschlafen, Faulenzen, und kurz vor Ladenschluss noch Einkaufengehen (zu Fuß — #Quaxing) erst kurz vor Mitternacht zu einem Spaziergang und dann dem #Bikestreak wegen auch mit dem #Brompton H6RD #rausgeschafft und erst nach Mitternacht wieder heimgekommen.

Heute auf dem Heimweg zum ersten Mal den Anti-Paparazzi-Loop-Schal (https://urban-privacy.com/products/anti-paparazzi-loopschal-i-bio-premium-unisex-schlauchschal-mit-reflektierenden-print-gegen-blitzlichtfotos) von @urbanprivacy ausprobiert. Allerdings zugegebenermaßen nicht gegen schießwütige Paparazzi sondern "gegen" Autofahrer und die Kälte. Hatte drunter zwar noch meinen Buff-Schlauchschal, aber der von #UrbanPrivacy hat den Vorteil, dass er stabiler ist und nicht so schnell verrutscht, auch weil er eine Zugkordel hat.

Hab's dann heute äh gestern Abend doch noch #rausgeschafft und bin mit dem Brompton Electric G-Line nach Schlieren geradelt und mit @Venty im Lotus Garden Abendessen gewesen.
Waren im Prinzip die gleichen 13km wie letztes WoE (https://chaos.social/@xtaran/115482766531123860), nur mit weniger Laub auf den Wegen und auch weniger Nebel. Und damit auch weniger interessante (oder nochmals die gleichen) Fotomotive. Deswegen dieses Mal nur ein Bild vom #Stadtrand.

The cycling gods were smiling on us on Friday evening: the sound as you come through the arcade in Liverpool ONE is always great and we got there just in time for a bell accompaniment to the music.

We were fortunate with a break in the rain that lasted for all of Friday's #FolkRidingBikes ride.
Rode through Princes, Sefton and Otterspool parks down to the river. It was very blowy down there, hence this terrible video snippet as I rode one-handed battling the wind 🤣

Took a slightly longer route home to chat more, as it was a lovely cool summer night, great for riding. Got a bit of video as I came through Prince's Park

When the sun had set we dispersed.
Some jumped on the train at Formby back to Liverpool. Others headed back the way we'd come, back along the coast.
I led some of us through Formby to pick up the Cheshire Lines path, for a night ride in the West Lancs countryside.
Back to Maghull, where half got the train - one to Ormskirk, others to Liverpool and the Wirral. And the remaining three cycleteers carried on back into Liverpool.

Hab's dann doch noch für 'ne kleine Nachttour zwischen Schlieren und Wipkingen der Limmat entlang #rausgeschafft. 15.6km bei angenehmen 12℃-14℃.
Der Werksscheinwerfer des #BromptonElectricGLine leuchtet unerwartet gut aus. Nur scheint eine Höhenverstellung gänzlich zu fehlen. Er hat auch ab Werk geblendet, aber meine Fahrradwerkstatt hat's zumindest soweit hinbekommen, dass er auf der Ebene grade nicht mehr blendet.

Out for a late #InTheSaddle in an attempt to salvage something from the evening after mostly failing at community management.
Happened to bump into a mate at the lights near the end of the ride, and had a good chat for a few sequences of green, so got home in a better frame of mind

Today's exciting discovery while working on the American Sign Museum book.
The 'nightrider' was a vehicle used by workers at Stalcup Neon in Kansas City, KS, to drive around iinspecting their signs for bulbs that needed replacing. It had a generator installed in the boot to power its own neon lights, but no air conditioning.

First trip over the water this year for the #FolkRidingBikes Friday evening social ride.
Started in West Kirby and rode round the coast to Birkenhead.

Clear skies on last night's #JoyRide meant it was a little chilly down on the river but meant we could do a little star- and planet-gazing too.
Got a bit of a workout on the front-loader delivery bike with soundsystem as I chased the electric lead soundsystem bike to stay in range of the transmitter up hills and round corners.

Friday's #FolkRidingBikes group social ride was just what I needed after a hard week; riding through the city playing tunes with a bunch of your mates is joyous!
Sadly I didn't have my camera with me, so didn't get the shot as we rode past the Liver Building where one of the couple of lads we'd collected en route passed me riding along a low wall while pulling a wheelie.

Another ride out for the Rode mic soundsystem extender last night. Kept mostly close to the city centre to ward off the cold.
