#mlp #nightmaremoon A commission from several years ago. This one is a 15" x 22" picture done in colored pencil, marker pen, technical pen, and at the end some white gouache paint. The working surface is Strathmore 500 Series Vellum Bristol Board.

I am particularly happy with how the moonlit clouds came out. I put a lot of thought into how I was going to do them, and I tried some new techniques which got me the results I was looking for. I'm hoping the technique will also work during daylight pictures. It's not faster, but it gives much more satisfying results than older techniques have.

It was Intended to be my last year's Halloween entry. But this style is quite complicated to do quick and I ended up leaving it on hiatus. When I'm frustrated I get myself a bit into it and make a little progress. So far I have #NightMareMoon finished, and I'm about half way on #DayBreaker. In the end, I just did a cute #DerpyHooves dressed as a witch munching her looted candy :flutteryay:
