Пытаюсь собрать firefox-149 на llvm-22
И оказывается, что rust мешает firefox: из-за ошибок в encoding_rs (в #nightly rust из Mask<T,N> выбросили select?) мне приходится убеждать ​:gentoo:​ в том, что rust-bin-1.94.0 на самом деле готов к llvm-22

firefox написан на двух языках, но один уже новый (22-й) а второй ещё старый (1.94-й), потому хоть и парадоксально, но самый главный недостаток #firefox заключается в том, что в нём есть код на #rust

Small reminder for anyone who doesn't read fully (or at all) release news yet is using our #nightly #flatpak for testing latest code: you need to uninstall then reinstall the nightly flatpak with the commands given in the RC2 news:

Si vous n'avez que faire du nouveau #panneau #latéral de discussion avec une "Intelligence Artificielle" (en option sur versions #Beta et #Nightly), vous pouvez modifier une entrée d'about:config pour y placer une #url que vous visitez fréquemment.

J'ai pris l'exemple de #VivaldiStatus pour suivre l'état des services :vivaldi_blue: Web, Mail, Mastodon, blogs perso, que vous pourriez utiliser même si vous n'utilisez pas #Vivaldi.

- Modifiez dans about:config :
browser.ml.chat.provider avec la valeur https://vivaldistatus.com

- Vérifiez dans about:config que
browser.ml.chat.enabled=true

Je teste #Firefox depuis sa toute première version et aujourd'hui, au détour de quelques entrées d'about:config sur sa version #Nightly, j'arrive enfin à positionner ses #onglets sur le côté #gauche ou #droit de sa fenêtre (nativement, oui, sans passer par une extension)👏

Opera 4, il y 24 ans, permettait déjà ça...

Rencontrez-vous des cas où #firefox ne préremplis pas un champ de formulaire de connexion lorsque les informations sont mémorisées ?
Dans le cas de ce site, seul le champ mot de passe est prérempli, jamais le champ email/login. Les responsables du site indiquent qu'ils n'ont pas de problème de leur côté avec "plusieurs #navigateurs".
Même problème avec #nightly 124 et profil vierge, protections antipub désactivée.

rebased my test box to #Kinoite #nightly. Damn if the plasma 6 alpha doesn't have some awesome refinement.

Love the new layouts in settings and discover. Was expecting to hate the default floating panel - but its actually been made much better than it was in plasma5.

Looking forward to running the beta on my main machine when it's tagged
