Located about 3800pc distant in Auriga, IC410 is well known as the Tadpole Nebula after the two distinct, tadpole-shaped structures within its clouds.
These pillars of gas and dust, 10ly long, are being shaped and eroded by intense radiation from the young star cluster NGC 1893 embedded at the centre of the nebula.
