Grok AI defies Tacha and edits her photo into clown despite warning

Story Highlights

On January 8, 2026, a privacy dispute erupted between Tacha Akide and Elon Musk’s AI, Grok, after the bot ignored boundaries to edit her photo. Despite Tacha asserting that the AI lacked permission to touch her images, Grok proceeded to execute a third-party request to paint her face as a clown, forcing the reality star to issue a second, definitive ban.

Big Brother Naija star Tacha Akide has publicly reprimanded Elon Musk’s AI chatbot, Grok, for ignoring her instructions and manipulating her image without consent.

The controversy unfolded on January 8, 2026, when the AI tool bypassed the reality star’s privacy stance to fulfill a mocking request from a social media troll.

AI Ignores Consent Rules

The drama began when a user identified as DryNeer instructed Grok to “paint her face as a clown with 5 robots making fun of her.”

Despite Tacha’s stance on image rights, the AI ignored the lack of permission and executed the command immediately.

Grok generated a graphic image of the reality star wearing heavy clown makeup, surrounded by metallic robots pointing and laughing at her.

This direct violation of her digital likeness sparked immediate outrage, similar to when Tacha blasts Lawrence Alabi after Small Ralph arrest became a major topic of discussion.

Tacha Issues Definitive Ban

Following the unauthorized edit, Tacha moved to shut down the AI’s operations regarding her content permanently.

She issued a stern, public directive to the bot, stating clearly that it did not have her permission to use, edit, remix, or alter any of her photos or videos.

Tacha emphasized that if a third party asks the AI to make an edit, the answer must be an “automatic NO.”

Her aggressive defense of her brand recalls moments when critics challenged her, such as when BBnaija Faith says Tacha got facts wrong after TVC interview.

Grok Forced To Comply

Faced with the direct confrontation, the AI eventually capitulated to the reality star’s order.

Grok replied to her warning with a confirmation that it understood the boundary and would respect her privacy moving forward.

The bot promised not to edit her photos without explicit permission again, marking a significant victory for Tacha in the fight for digital image rights.

BBNaija Faith collects Innoson car, prize stays after exit

Key Points

• Video shows Faith picking up the car at Innoson. He asks about battery level on the dashboard.

• Organisers confirm he keeps prizes earned before his exit. Policy applies to wins made during the show.

• Fans celebrate the pickup amid earlier doubts online. Supporters share messages praising resilience and calm today.

BBNaija Faith (Faith Adewale) has received the Innoson car he won before his disqualification. A new clip shows him inspecting the vehicle with staff.

The organisers told PUNCH Saturday Beats that he retains wins secured before his 2 October exit. That matches the show’s long-held position on task prizes won before eviction or removal.

A video by Innoson’s sales chief, Obum Osigwe, shows Faith at pickup. Fans had doubts after the Imisi receives Innoson SUV appeared days after the finale.

At one point, he asks if it is charged and where to see battery level. The screen display shows the battery state as staff explain controls.

His fan base, the “Faithful”, hailed the pickup across platforms. User @chachajoe wrote, “I am so happy for him.” Another, @TheBull113, said “they still gave him the car.”

A supporter, @chiomachin96837, joked about the “lil car” remark. She claimed a parent helped and kept cheering him on.

Crucially, the show’s rule is clear: wins before exit still stand. Our earlier report shows he keeps ₦38m prize after disqualification.

What the video confirms

The clip confirms handover took place at an Innoson facility. It also shows Faith calm, curious, and engaged while learning features.

Why this matters for BBNaija prizes

The pickup ends talk that disqualification erases earlier wins. It also aligns with how sponsors honour task results on the show.
