I can't stop thinking about this, (Young) #Nier writing his sister, #Yonah's name on the sand as one of his idle animations when he's at the beach, since I first discovered it a while ago.

Funny thing about Nier is, I didn't know going into it (playing #NierReplicant) that his Adult self would have the voice of #YusaKoji, my fav seiyu of all time, and while it's an absolute treat to listen to him in an MC role for the first time - I end up missing so much his Young voice that I've grown attached to, by #OkamotoNobuhiko.

And so I started noticing his voice elsewhere since, including in #HeikeMonogatari - which coincidentally also had the voice of #Kaine, #TanakaAtsuko.

I think it's only right that after neglecting #NierReplicant for so long, and I've finally committed to complete it and making good progress so far (finishing Route C), that afterwards I should continue my #TOTK playthrough and finish that first before moving to other games... no matter how tempting it is to start playing #MetalGearRisingRevengeance - cos I miss #PlatinumGames games that much (namely, #NierAutomata).

TOTK is just SO daunting to finish, #BOTW had a lot of freedom and took a while for me to finish it in a satisfying way, but TOTK is just... a whole different level that it's actually insanely intimidating to even thought of finishing, without missing anything. I almost never go thru the main quest line whenever I play TOTK cos there's just so much to do and I'm the type to leave the "main course" for last lol. I'm not even gonna talk about #EldenRing - that one I feel I've to just restart from scratch despite having progressed a fair bit, simply bcos I know I've prolly only completed less than a quarter of it, and I already forgot how to play it.

I loved Elden Ring, it was my first #FromSoftware and Souls-like game in general and there's something satisfying about the game despite it feeling so gloomy and sorrowful at times - the only thing I don't quite like abt it is how "slow" you move, never been a big fan of games where controlling your character feels like controlling a tank (i.e. #MonsterHunter games).

Instead of continuing where I left off on #NierReplicant, I'm considering playing #NierAutomata, a game I've platinum-ed, from scratch just to check out the #10H as #2B mod haha.

Really hope we'll get to see #NierReincarnation on #PC/#Steam someday, esp since I've never gotten to play it on #iOS before the game was removed 🥹

Not a single minute of playing #TOTK when I thought like I'm losing interest or that it's losing my attention and that's an impressive feat. Currently trying to catch up but as always I'm basically doing everything I can in the game besides the main quests lol (Switch says I've more than 80 hours, while main quest completed is still only 3).

When I'm done with TOTK, I'm planning to catch up #NierReplicant next. Then, continue my long abandoned #DQXI playthrough. As that wizard from #DisneyDreamlightValley loves to say, "lots to do, lots to do" (oh, speaking of which, I've only a week+ left to settle my taxes ffs).

I really need to continue my #DQXI and #NierReplicant playthrough instead of buying and playing new games lol. I've not even touched #GodOfWar I was gifted months ago, that's nuts.

@[email protected] i've never played any #Persona #games before, kinda curious why they're super popular but haven't been able to get it yet.

i'm not #gaming as much as i'm used to, and our gaming preferences could be waaaaay different, but (ALSO i just realised u weren't even asking for a recommendation after having completed the list but wtv haha):

- currently playing #RE2 remake and loving it.
- currently also playing #TOTK but i don't have much time for it so it's been neglected (really good game tho).
- recently platinum-ed #NierAutomata and loved it. purchased #NierReplicant immediately after but putting it on hold until i have all the time i need to properly sink into it.
- Played and abandoned #EldenRing. it's an amazing game and i love it to death, but not forgiving for someone like me who plays a game, drops it indefinitely, picks it back up. Still waiting for when i can pick it back up and sit through it properly.
- Completed and loved #DeathStranding. Picked up the new director's cut edition but haven't played much of that yet.
- Played a ton of #DQXI (and I suspect i'm not too far from finishing it) but putting it on hold for a while. One of my most fav JRPGs so far.
- #Witcher3, one of my most fav games of all time.
- #Yakuza0. haven't played much of it but i loved what i've played.
- #YomawariLostInTheDark (Horror), watched a let's play of it and loved it a lot, bought it and have played it a little bit.
- #MonsterHunterRise. feels like any other mon hun games but without the sluggishness (#MonsterHunterWorld was too incredibly slow for me). looks cute too and while i haven't played much of it, enjoyed it on both my #Switch and #SteamDeck.
- #MGSV The Phantom Pain was pretty good and should give u a ton of hours to play too (I've put in 285 hours into it apparently lol).
- #StardewValley but honestly who haven't played that yet by now.
