Talked to my teacher today, instead of asking over text message, and I showed her the actual passage and asked how old she would assume NMJ was based on that, if she would think of a specific age.

And she said the fact that it ads 只有 to 十几岁 makes her think "teenager, at most 15".

She is from Beijing.

So yeah, Nie Mingjue was at most Jin Ling's age when he became clan leader 😭

It feels like so many people forget how young Nie Mingjue was. He was only old 6 years older than Nie Huaisang.

Which makes Nie Mingjue, Chifeng-Zun, who’s a well established leader in combat, all of 23/24 years old at the start of the Sunshot Campaign, and barely/maybe not even 30 at his death.
