I visited NiCon on Friday. It's small and cute and a little chaotic, but probably had the highest percentage of cosplayers among visitors I've seen so far! Lots of younger people who seemed to enjoy the event, too. The venue was pretty packed at times.

Reading the program for NiCon and gosh, even though I'm not into Anime at all and thus don't have a personal connection to a lot of offerings at cons, I do appreciate all the love that goes into these events. There's so much going on in this small venue and I can easily imagine loads of people having the best time ever.
