Yesterday, I wrote a long thread about returning to full-time work after a long health-related break and then accidentally deleted it. Wh🥲😅ps!
The TL;DR is, 2 weeks ago, I joined the Centre for Language Evolution Studies #CLES at #NicolausCopernicusUni in Toruń 🇵🇱. As someone who roughly identifies as Baltic/Hanseatic Nordic European, I couldn't be happier to be back in a Hanseatic town that looks like my hometown by the sea (the river almost feels like it too)!
The brick gothic architecture is something I've really missed. The Collegium Maius, where I work almost looks like my highschool! -
