So Huge Dept: Here's Paul Gilbert on tour with #MrBig doing a rig tour from #Thailand. Feeling a bit slacker as this date flew totally under the radar here. Anyway itza #PaulGilbert, #BillySheehan, #EricMartin, #NickDVirgilio and they've got dates all over the place thru 2024

#NowPlaying Big Big Train "The Transit Of Venus Across The Sun" live at the Boerderij, Holland - September 2022."

This was the very first #BigBigTrain song I'd heard and this is the first time I've heard it with the new vocalist, Alberto Bravin. As with all BBT songs, it's wonderful. Opening with some brass then violin before the band join in. And it includes another fantastic Rikard Sjöblom guitar solo. Amazing. #ProgRock #TheTransitOfVenusAcrossTheSun #RikardSjoblom #AlbertoBravin #NickDVirgilio

Today's #WashingUpMusic is #Folklore by #BigBigTrain. This was their 9th album but the 4th with the more "revered" line up that included the late David Longdon. Each #BBT album is a majestical journey and Folklore has many live staples (they rarely played live, anyway!), including The Transit Of Venus Across The Sun, Winkle (a true story, that one), Folklore and Wassail. Check them out if you love your #Prog and need to tap into something wonderful. #DavidLongdon #NickDVirgilio #ProgRock
