Expanding on that stalker behavior, a few days ago Kellie Peterson, ex-Automattic alumni, posted that she would reach out to other employees who are quitting due to Matt's meltdown and taking his offer of severance or $30k to do so, helping them get set up with new work if they haven't arranged already.
In comes in Matt, to her DMs, accusing her of attacking him (she didn't), falling back on "how nice he's been to her" (🚩), and not-so-subtly threatening legal action against her.
How nice of him.
Unsurprisingly after returning from sabbatical, he's still doing the same unethical behavior he was doing the last time he turned into a corn cob (less than six months ago, mind you): getting into the DMs and fighting with users, employees, and critics, who were usually women or femme and with an underlying threat of legal action or banning.
