after learning that the #Android #novalauncher has been bought, and immediately added Facebook and Google ad tracking... I uninstalled it.
now trying #niagralauncher and so far it's going really well, I tried this in the past and it didn't gel with me... but this time, yeah, it's nice.
if you haven't yet heard about the Nova Launcher thing, the message is clear... if you are using it, stop, uninstall, figure something else out, literally anything is now better.

@jcrabapple After #lawnchair, the only launcher that I adore is the #NiagraLauncher. #niagara is peak, when you've the pro version.

First steps on cleaning up my phone. Switched to #NiagraLauncher , uninstalled and hid a bunch of apps, turned off all notifications for big Internet, and defaulted #VivaldiBrowser and #BraveSearch.
Don't know if I'm ready to commit to a custom ROM... But if you know of one and think it's worth it, let me know!
Thank you #Fediverse for making me hopeful about using my technology again!
