So apparently one of the main features of reforming the NHS is to give out millions of smart watches.
I wonder whether this is because:
a) There is good evidence from randomised controlled trials that widespread population use of smart watches makes populations significantly healthier;
or
b) Wes Streeting is sponsored by smart watch manufacturers?

I am not opposed to NHS reform in principle, but I would like to see any reforms meet 2 criteria:
1. Done for the benefit of patients, not for profit-making opportunities for Labour Party sponsors
2. Properly thought through, not just more upheaval for the sake of it. God knows the NHS has seen enough of that over the years.
Given this all seems to be based on a report put together in 8 weeks, I am not optimistic
