New Read - Neon Genesis Evangelion, Omnibus 5 (Volumes 13-14)
Wow. Okay, so that's the end of Evangelion.
This is the final volume of the manga and a content warning, there's a lot of non-sexualized nudity that mirrors that which was shown in the anime.
But the ending. It's...different.
Shinji makes a different choice at the end, the world ends differently and honestly, I like this ending better than the original End of Evangelion movie ending.
All in all, I'm glad I read the manga. Glad I got into this series.

CW: Negative take on NGE new series announcement
In 3+1 Anno put about as firm a capstone as a creator can on such a big franchise. It makes this feel like grave robbing.
For once, I’m somewhat hoping for a Prime Exclusive, so it can be buried and forgotten forevermore.

New Read - Neon Genesis Evangelion, Omnibus 4 (Volumes 10-12)
One word defines these volumes more than anything else: Kaworu
Yes, the last volume gets to NERV being invaded mirroring the plot from End of Evangelion in many ways, but Kaworu dominates this volume.
Those who ship Shinji and Kaworu would do well to read the manga. Their relationship is more intense, more overtly romantic, more kissing than in the anime.
It also makes Kaworu's death at the hands of Unit 01 all the more intense.

New Read - Neon Genesis Evangelion, Omnibus 3 (Volumes 7-9)
Wow. This is a lot.
The aftermath of the situation with Unit 03 and Toji. How Shinji emotionally is just...broken. And then his melding into the LCL for a time and his mother and him starting to piece together more of what the Eva units are. It's a lot.
Also, more of Kaiji's backstory than I remember from the anime. Plus the completion of his arc. Wow. Well done.
Also, Asuka's emotional and mental attack. Plus the addition of Kaworu toward the end of the omnibus.
A lot went on.

Tym samym mam prawie wszystkie single, w tym ten z End of Evangelion podwójnie – poniżej wersja normalnie dostępna w sprzedaży, stan igła. Wcześniej wrzucałem wydanie promocyjne, nieprzeznaczone do sprzedaży, ale też w niestety gorszym stanie wizualnym.
W tym wydaniu mamy akurat jedne z najważniejszych dla mnie utworów z serialu z 1995 roku. I ciekawostka – w tekście "Komm, susser Tod" wewnątrz opakowania jest błąd 😄 Zamiast "killing me inside" jest "kill in me inside" i to zarówno w wersji promocyjnej, jak i późniejszej komercyjnej.
Strasznie mi się ta forma podoba ♥️

Na pierwszy rzut – opening i ending z serii TV Neon Genesis Evangelion z 1995 roku. Kolejne wydanie z "Fly Me to the Moon" w wykonaniu Claire zabezpieczone.
Jeżeli ktoś nie kojarzy – w obecnie dostępnych wydaniach anime to wykonanie jest niedostępne. Licencja wygasła 🤷🏻 A że ja mam ten utwór wyryty w korze mózgowej, to żadna inna aranżacja mi nie podchodzi.

A lot happens in Volume 2. A lot of stuff I remember from the anime. We also get more background, more info to really confuse us about Seele, NERV, and Adam.
It's good. I'm glad I'm getting this story from the manga perspective. I may need to look into the names of the angels again, cause it is fascinating.

We also get better, more coherent look into Shinji's thoughts here. Maybe it's me, but it absolutely feels WAY more coherent than watching it / listening to him think in the anime.
If you have seen the anime, I would recommend checking this out. It's the same story from a different angle. Not substantially different, but different.

Wow. This manga starts off with a punch and fast. So did the anime, but it's been a while since I've watched the anime.
This is the omnibus edition. 3 volumes with some interviews from the creators and crew from of the anime / manga between the volumes. These are interesting to say the least.
