Relaunch! Der Offene Kanal Schleswig-Holstein heißt jetzt OKSH Mediahub! Der neue Name und das neue Design zeigt endlich auch nach außen, was der OKSH schon lange ist: der digitale Medienbildner mit Sendelizenz. Neben Radio und Fernsehen nehme digitale Medien schon lange eine bestimmende Rolle ein. Das wussten auch Minister @[email protected], Kiels Oberbürgermeister Samet Yilmaz und Eva Maria Sommer, Direktorin der Medienanstalt Hamburg/Schleswig-Holstein zu würdigen.
Das kleine Team des Mediahubs hat in den letzten Monaten nicht nur mit einer Agentur das neue Design erarbeitet, sondern auch ganz handfest Wände eingerissen und den Standort in Kiel umgebaut. Eine großartige Arbeit, die sich gelohnt hat.

Und nebenher war es auch eine Gelegenheit für Diakonie trifft Diakonie – Gruß an Dennis Krabbenhöft, der bei der ngd in Rendsburg das Cowork17 betreibt.

Also, bought a Greco GS940 #semihollow #shortscale #bass that I'm going to convert into a #fretless #cello. That'll arrive in a few weeks.

Oh. I decided on a whim to buy a new used #Behringer graphicEQ and #DBX compressor+limiter+noise gate. I feel like I stole them they were so cheap but, I know they were sitting around for a long time.

Traded in a hard case that came w/ my #Ibanez bass.

Going to be doing a spot of setup on my new #ibanez Q547 later on (Ibanez do have top model naming skills 🙃) Got it in a sale, reckon it’s been in a warehouse for a while - frets need a polish and I need to bring the action down. Not done this with a mono-tune bridge before but should be ok. Will post some pics later.

#NGD (ny #gitar-dag), truleg ein av dei siste på lenge. Eg har med dette runda finn, og kjøpt att nettopp den same gitaren (ein Reverend Buckshot) som eg selde for nokre år sidan, noko eg angra på. Eg er sjølvsagt ikkje spesielt stolt av historia - det har vore for mykje kjøp og sal - men trøysta er at det har vore ca. eit nullsumspel. Eg kjøpte denne for om lag det same som eg selde han for. Og det gjekk bra til slutt. Moralen er: Har du ein Reverend, så hald på han. Dei er gode.

Early birthday gift / hardware upgrade. It will allow me to get better recordings and do more with my microphones. Excited to get this into my recording setup and start using my Shure PG58.

(Yes I've recorded several albums without a standalone audio interface lol)

New gear!

A cheesy but fun-looking panorama camera from Lomo that takes 360* images on 35mm film.

And a new-old 35-70 Nikkor lens for the Nikkormat. I wanted a fixed 35mm 2.8 but didn’t want to spend what people were asking for a lens that old, so I snagged the zoom from GoodwillBuys for $40.

I’ve got some Delta 400 and some SFX 200, just need to go out and play!

Today is NGD (for the uninitiated: new #guitar day). I swapped a red Squier pro tone strat for this handsome thing. Hello Partsotele! DiMarzio pickups (yes, the Richie Kotzen combo), good electronics & neck, 4-way switch. I think I like it.

Picked up a Godin Seagull S8 EQ mandolin today. Nice little #mandolin. Pretty good resonance and intonation. Solid build. Doing some #recording with it tonight. #music #NewGearDay #NGD

My biggest sabbatical achievement was to finally finish building my first #partscaster #telecaster featuring an #upcycled cedar body salvaged from a ceiling by @nomoonlaser on eBay, pickguard made from a Led Zeppelin LP, and vintage-correct parts from Guitar Fetish.
