Anyone know if NeXT 68k computers (non-Turbo models) can use 30-pin RAM SIMMS with higher-density chips?
ie, instead of 4MB sticks with 8x4mbit chips, 4MB sticks with 2x16mbit chips.
The latter are sold for Macs of the same vintage, but I don't know if NeXT computers like them.

This is an old animation I had on VHS. I animated the train part (30 yrs ago?) with Mathematica on my NeXTdimension cube (using the graphic board NTSC Composite outputs). I renumerized it back from tape lately and added the scrolling text. Et aujourd'hui j'ai accolé l'intro musicale. Reste plus qu'à mettre des bips bips sonores lors de l'arrivée des impulsions lumineuses dans la partie 'train'...

It was a fork by Adobe to kill Display PostScript (c.1987) and its sibling EPS (Encapsulated PS) co-developed with NeXT and inspired by what Sun Microsystems did with NeWS, its Network extensible Window System (1986) #computerhistory #NeXTComputers
