Still fighting Nextcloud and NGINX to get my Nextcloud instances running the Social app. I keep running into the webfinger issue.
Just don't know the real fix here.

@garym thank you my little #wordpress bot, message received and while I haven't a clue what I did that actually made it go again, I'm tres happy it does!
So everything is working again 🤞 except #NextcloudSocial and that is getting a rewrite!
So… what should I #fubar next… 🤔

Kann ruhig auch #Firefish, #Pixelfed, #Peertube, #Hubzilla, #Misskey, #Foundkey, #Pleroma, #GoToSocial, #Bonfire, #Goldfish, #Friendica, #WriteFreely, #Lemmy, #Kbin, #Plume, #Akkoma, #Epicyon, #GNUSocial, #Hometown, #Smalltown, #Socialhome, #Streams, #Swanye, #Tahake, #Castopod, #Funkwhale, #Owncast, #Gancio, #Mobilizon, #NextCloudSocial, #Inventaire, #BookWyrm oder sonst was im #Fediverse sein.

Also die neue Beta von #nextcloudsocial macht einen guten Eindruck. Für den einen oder anderen vielleicht eine Alternative zu einer eigenen #mastodon -instanz. Echter Mehrwert wäre natürlich, wenn man sich auch mit den Apps dort einloggen könnte. Mein Account dort siehe: @Sebastian

@hankg I don't know, I think when you already have an application host like NextCloud it makes sense for one application to be a social web node.
I also agree with them that it'd be a huge boon for fedi if their existing installed base meant a lot of new people choosing to run fedi instances and their users joining fedi.
In the end it all depends on how good the application is when it's released. How well will it handle the spectrum of other fedi implementations? How good are the moderation tools so that it doesn't become another spam vector?

@carlschwan Thanks for updating the code of #NextcloudSocial. Would you say that #Nextcloud Social is now/already in a working state or is the implementation still (very) alpha? I have seen you made quite some changes and then another programmer violoncelleCH, too.

What Fediverse app are you looking for? There's already #Yunohost packages for all the most popular ones, including #Mastodon, #Pleroma, #Peertube, #Funkwhale, #WriteAs, #Halcyon, #Epicyon, #Mobilizon, #NextcloudSocial and #Pixelfed...
The Mastodon one could use some updating, but generally speaking, pretty much any well known Fediverse app is already available on Yunohost...

Does anyone know if there's any kind of progress happening towards some kind of single sign on (#SSO) for various #fediverse #activitypub services? #Indyauth sounds cool or anything else.
How do we get past having 10 accounts with 10 logins with 10 notification streams for 10 services (#Mastodon, #Peertube, #Pixelfed, #Prismo, #NextcloudSocial, #WriteAs etc etc).
If anyone knows of any dev happening, please link so we can all follow along / help out!
