So, in less than 2 weeks, I upset #ElonMusk on X. So Mr. Free Speech, of course, supported my right to free...just kidding, he hid my account from search after accusing me of spamming. I disputed it, and it came back and said I was cleared and didn't spam, but you still can't find me. I paid for Premium, too. He is a coward. How do I use this platform and grow? #NewToMastadon

I've just discovered that the official #Mastadon app for #Android is not where it's at and I should probably be using a third-party #app.

So, can I have suggestions from Android users? What do you use and what do you like about it? What do you find lacking?

@davidallengreen being an avid gamer, this is something I've come across many times. The dislike of noobs - not playing the game "the right way". It's human nature and to be expected. Not helped by shameless self promoters (like me trying to promote my books) and attention seekers.

I'm finding Mastodon to be a gentler (if overly complicated) alternative, and I hope it thrives. #Noob #NewToMastadon #bookdon #TwitterRefugee

Still figuring everything out here and trying to learn the #mastadonculture. Read a fantastic blog post about how the #mastadonmigration is shaking things up. Those of us who are #newtomastadon need to do some listening and observing and less trying to make this something it isn’t. My heart goes out to all who felt safe here and now are on edge. I hope to become an ally, cause y’all have something rather cool going on here.

This may be a super dumb post 🤦🏻‍♀️ but I have zero recollection of setting a password for my Mastodon account and the reset password option doesn’t appear to be working. (I’m sure people are working hard to catch up with all the new users and traffic. Thank you!!!) Wondering if there’s any other way to explore various apps and interfaces, or if I just need to patiently wait until I can reset my password. Thank you!
