1. my Internet Draft which allows registrars to use EPP change the TTL vales on NS, DS and glue records above a zone cut is now ready for Last Call:

Our quarterly #phishing activity report for May - July 2023 is now available.
High and lowlights:
After a drop in phishing attacks reported in the February - April 2023 period, phishing attacks increased 21% during the May - July 2023 period.
As #Freenom fades into the sunset, other ccTLDs also saw drops in phishing domains reported.
Where did the phishers go? To the #newTLDs. And to subdomain service providers.

In our Phishing Landscape 2022 study we reported that the new TLDs represented 26% of #phishing domains.
We don't see any long term abatement in the quarterly reporting we provide at the Cybercrime Information Center.
I have yet to see a credible economic study that suggests more TLDs are needed, or an independent study that estimates the risks involved in further expanding the namespace in this manner.
