So, my Friday appointment at the tattooists, turned into a late one as it often does
But I said I'd post my new ink here when it was finished, (though I didn't get the chance earlier)
Anyway this is what I had done on my right calf 'a barefoot alien running along a trail'I came up with the idea and my tattooist realised it - she is extremely talented
I'll repost again when its completely healed it's still a bit pink at the moment

Okay, we're on day five (I think. Tattoo was Sunday, today is Friday—that's five days, right?) Saniderm is off and I washed with antibacterial soap. Eek! Birds?!

The time has come for me to remove the Saniderm bandages and I'm weirdly skittish about it!

Something I experience with tattoos is that they feel like an addiction. For example, when I smell medical soap, I want another one.
It’s been many years since I got new ink. Doing my fingers yesterday REALLY made me want my others. Like now. I want my neck and my hands done as soon as possible. I was patient until I got my new ink.
Anyone else with tattoos feel that strong urge for more?

Motley Crue’s “New Tattoo” is about two of the dumbest things you can do under the influence. It’s also a straightforward love song. The songwriters probably think a DUI hit-and-run is the grandest gesture of all, since they found drunk dialing and embarrassing tattoos to be so romantic.

Almost 2 weeks into my tattoo healing and it decides it's now time to itch.
At 2AM.
Leeloo woke me up to go potty (she does that sometimes, even with an evening walk). My tattoo was on fire. I had done the pre-bedtime care routine before bed. And I redid it so that I could get back to sleep.
It had hardly itched at all prior to that.
