Here's more proof that, regarding british #gothicmetal, Paradise Lost have already said pretty much everything that needs to be said on the matter, even when the great Aaron Stainthorpe (of My Dying Bride fame) decides to step into it. Alas, it's great to listen to him in more up tempo stuff, especially when he sounds to be accompanied by talented composers. Looking forward to the debut album this September!

Chicago's REZN, after last year's incredible "Solace", return unexpectedly soon with yet another opus named "Burden", which finds them in a slightly wilder and harsher attitude, but maintaining their music's unique balance between #shoegaze orchestrations, #doommetal edges, and #psychedelicrock atmospheres.

Greek #doomrock children BUS return with their third and most mature album to date! Having established themselves through the years as a must-see live band, they offer a masterpiece in "We Are the Night", where they explore even further their vintage and #protometal roots. With great riffing and substantial compositions and orchestration, the album transcends the doom restrictions and can be enjoyed by all fans of good melodic heavy music.

"Balkan kraut folk" πώς φαίνεται ως όρος;

A bulldozer of an album. Sludgy death with blasts. Riffs, growls, shrieking and some more riffs. My only personal nitpick would be, that the title is the same as my favourite death metal album of the last 15 years. You may guess the band yourself.

I don't give ratings, because every album i post is a recommendation.

Release day today for the massive minimalists BIG|BRAVE, and "A Chaos of Flowers" finds them toying with velvety menacing guitars, fragile atmospheres and eerie vocal scales.
