Lots of counting and frogging yesterday on my cardi project. Did an increase and one more on the side to make it the correct number of stitches. Now to redo the lace row again.

So here is a brief overview of our new project FediSea.

We are developing a Fediverse crawler which discovers and collects data about Fediverse instances. Then there will be an open API which provides this data.
The website will show statistics and information about the fediverse and there will be a clear API documentation.

All three Github repos (crawler, API and frontend) will be made public within the next few days.

I'm going to create another weblog site, replacing that old CMS with Ghost CMS for familiarity and consistency. The weblog site can be shorter or longer (adaptive), and more personal and casual, allowing for quicker updates.

so i learned that the nalbinding stitch that i use worked flat gives me a very similar space as garter stitch, but wider? and with one row instead of two.

the sample here is increased 2 stitches at the pink markers and decreased 2 stitches at the blue markers without a "knit all"　row in between as the single needle knotted stitch seems to incorporate it.

when i tried it with the extra full row, the mitered bits were not as sharply defined, so i'm going to see what happens by making an EZ Surprise Scarf with this method and seeing how the stripes work out. then it's casting on a Surprise Jacket time!

A progress update for TreeView impl in GTK4:

I managed to get the top level items working along with file/folder icon and label for the list item.

The child items will have to wait - I need to decide on the editor screen GUI. The libadwaita widgets won’t “fit” nicely but they won’t look good on my KDE desktop.

I really wish @kde had official Rust bindings. cxx-qt is not easy to work with.
