New ink, more dreamy green than I wanted, but that's not a bad thing. I think I could stand more brightness in my life. Kyo-no-oto No. 03 kokeiro (which I was thinking meant frog but is moss green)

My TWSBI vac700 as a dip pen (with blue ink), so the writing may be darker than it should be. I am a monster. Edit: please read warning that follows!

Today I made #swatches of my two inks from the other week. #pilot #iroshizuku hotaru-bi and hana-ikada. I had some real troubble finding a close ink in my collection to the hotaru-bi but found some close to the pale pink of the hana-ikada.

Also: Hot tip: If you have a fav paper you use most of the time, use it for swatches too. That way the ink will show up the same way in your swatches as on your pages ✒️👍🙂

I sacrificed a rhodia dot pad for these 😉
