I hung lights on the ceiling! By myself! I'm a little proud of myself 😊
My dad thought me how to use the hammerdrill (that might be badly translated from Dutch) last time he was over, but this was the first time doing it alone without him. Luckily I'm not unhandy, just lacking knowledge. Now, we finally don't have to light our evenings with a tiny table light anymore 🤣
Still enough to do, it's quite empty still. But we're getting there 👍🏻🏡

Yay, I did a thing today, so I haven't been totally useless.
A basement window has an outer screen that was inexplicably too large for its mounting channels so I disassembled its aluminum frame and shortened the top and bottom pcs by a cm, then reassembled and re-splined the screen. Success.
Don't feel as lazy about the long breakfast and wandering through antique shops today.

Things are slowly coming along...
I've put two of the big walls in one of the upstairs bedrooms in primer. Having a break now, as the telescopic handle is very hard for me to use. After a break, the first wall should be dry enough... So then I can start with the paint for it. Let's see how that will work out. 😊
There's two guys hard at work in the living room and kitchen. The house really looks different, with some bits of floor in it now. They're going rather fast though!
Well, I guess I better stretch and get ready to paint the upstairs some more... My poor hands... (and shoulders...). But all that's done... Is done. 😊

Another splash round for Arwen and me. Last week we'll be able to do those early... 😔
Just one more week... Excited? Yes! Seven more sleeps... Anxious? Definitely!
I'm hopeful that this will be the start of a wonderful part of my journey through life.
Our journey, as long as Arwen honors me by accompanying me... 🐾 💜I also hope I planned things right! Hoping things will work out, that I'll be able to paint it all fast enough (and well enough). That the floors will go in smoothly. That my sweet friends and I will be able to get all my (heavy) stuff over to the new place...
There are things I'll also still need to do at the apartment.
Clean out the fridge.
Pack the things I'm currently using.
Take out the shower cabin with my dad.I'm so grateful for my parent's and friends help! Without them, I could not have made this happen!
