We already have problems with patents spilling over from #GMOs into conventional breeding. If patented #NGTs (gene-edited #newGMOs) get deregulated, the problem will get so much worse. #Patents block access to seed and are a threat to food security! It is mostly agrochemical multinationals that are filing these patents, e.g. #Bayer, #BASF, #Syngenta and #Corteva https://www.no-patents-on-seeds.org/en/report2023
