Intergender: an intersex person whose gender feels connected, linked, influenced, or a result of being intersex. This term is used as a descriptor of one's gender (e.g. an intergender trans woman) similar to neurogender. It is also used as a gender in of itself (e.g. hir gender is intergender).

This is a new flag for intergender that I've created because I've been wanting something more minimalist. This flag takes the Carpenter intersex flag and inverts the colours, to reflect how inter*gender* is a complimentary term to inter*sex*. (I'm also influenced by interpunked's intergender flag!)

Autistic Pride Day is coming up! Here's four new autistic flag options \o/

I've put together some autistic-specific pride flags because too many autistic-specific flags fall into one of two pitfalls:
1. using a solid white infinity symbol - the Métis (a major Indigenous group) have been using this as their flag design since 1815 :metis_flag:
2. using a solid yellow background - this is an intersex flag thing :sensory_intersex_flag:

Here are some alternatives I've made that don't do either! 💛

1. Golden infinity loop on white background. I took the golden infinity off the 2023 Autistic Progress Pride Flag and stuck it on a white background in the style of rainbow-infinity-on-white-background neurodiversity flags. Gold is used for autism because Au=Gold. (I'm not sure I'm the first one to do this design.)

2. Replacing the infinity on the red-yellow-green flag. I took the 2021 red-yellow-green autistic flag and replaced the solid white infinity symbol with a red infinity loop. Red is another common autism flag colour used as a contrast to the blue of Autism Speaks (bc fuck Autism Speaks).

3. Recolour the Disability Pride Flag to make it autistic. Remember how Au=Gold for autism? Let's just go all in. This has gold (Au), titanium (Ti), sulphur (S), titanium (Ti), and carbon (C) for an AuTiSTic colour palatte.

4. Golden infinity + Disability Pride Flag. Sticking the infinity right on the disability pride flag was too busy so I moved the stripes to the corners.

Intersex and rare diseases: a flag for intersex people who have rare diseases, whether because their intersex variation is a rare disease, or because in addition to being intersex they have a rare disease (e.g. EDS).

The zebra is a common symbol of rare diseases. The design of replacing the ring of the intersex flag with a zebra head was created by queercripintersex on Tumblr in 2022. This version has a different zebra head on it.

Intergendervague or intervaguegender: being vague about one's gender in a way that is connected to being both intersex and neurodivergent.

Gendervague is a neurogender, i.e. a gender that is connected to being neurodivergent. This is a term exclusive for neurodivergent intersex people.

Interfluid: being #genderfluid in a specifically intersex way. Such as if one feels their genderfluidity is a result of their experiences as an intersex person.

The design takes the genderfluid flag, replaces its purple with the purple of the intersex flag, and then adds intersex yellow stripes at the top and bottom. (My first drafts had a single yellow stripe in the middle, but it looked too much like a non-binary flag!)
