I have to put a big shout out to #Womad in this regard. Ive been a bunch of times - twice to New Plymouth Ngāmotu and more than i can remember to hot n dusty #Womadelaide (my folks used to live not so far from the venue). The big name bands would be fine but every time without fail someone (usually more than one) unknown to me would knock my socks completely gone.
