For you, is #Thanksgiving about #tradition or is it a #food holiday where a #newdish is welcome?

I enjoy trying new recipes and sometimes try a conservative new side dish. I’ve been invited to a friend’s Thanksgiving and wanted to contribute, but my suggestions, even roasted vegetables, have been met with, “We do a traditional Thanksgiving!”

I’m told fresh cranberry sauce would be good. Well, okay then. I can do that. 😉

What kind of meal is Thanksgiving for you?

Beef mince in the fridge but I don't want to cook bolognase, so what to cook. Let's try empanadas! Made from scratch including the shortcrust pastry (that was a new one as well) and you know what, I'm pretty please. But more importantly, the kids devoured them!
