If we were to judge brands by the wartime history of their origin countries, I'd be in trouble. I've owned (counting on fingers) 7 BMWs and 7 Volkswagens--not to mention, 3 Hondas.

And of course, I have despised He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named #2 as long as I have been aware of him. So I have been #NeverTesla since day one.

Just bought a new car. Could’ve bought a Tesla. Could’ve bought American. Instead, I picked a German one - a BMW. Why? Because Americans build shit cars and Teslas are among the worst. Why would I spend my hard earned money on an inferior vehicle made by actual Nazis?

We've got guys here today checking the roof and circuits for the possibility of adding to our 4.5 KW solar system (all new homes in CA are required to have a solar system.

Now we're approaching the transition to EVs. I've owned more VWs than anything else: a regular beetle, a super beetle convertible, 2 Karmann Ghias, a first-year Rabbit, a diesel Jetta, a Golf SE and my current car, a GTI. I already want the new ID Buzz, coming to the US in 2023.
