This long floating dock is located in Glenburnie Park in New Bern, North Carolina. The structure provides access for fishermen wanting to wet a line in the Neuse river.

Clusters of wooden piling rise from the murky water of the Neuse River near New Bern, North Carolina. Secured into bundles using heavy ropes these wooden poles offer safe mooring for a large vessel. Further in the distance steel poles jut above the surface. Undoubtedly they served a similar purpose to the wooden posts.

Judging from the pilings a fairly substantial vessel used to moor in this location. Located mext to Highway 70 at New Bern North Carolina the addition of for lanes and overpasses probably played a role in the abandonment of this location.
