My #Cohost-account (https://cohost.org/ChaoticHuman) got activated today however I'm not sure yet how much I will use it.
Though my first impression of it is that it's actually more comparable to things like #nerdica, etc. instead of microblogging-services like #Mastodon meaning it's actually better suitable for longer instead of shorter texts.
It however also has useful things Mastodon could also learn from (f.e. markdown- and potentially even html-support but I'm not sure about that one yet).

The irony is (if it can be kept decentralized) the Fediverse could indeed have the potential to become an "everything-app".
Though spread over many different apps (f.e. #Mastodon for microblogging, #Nerdica,... for longer texts, #Peertube for videos, #Pixelfed for photos, etc.) who however share one protocol (#ActivityPub) with one another instead of being centralized in one app.
And with tumblr now also planning to add ActivityPub-support this potential could even grow further.

Entweder bin ich blind, oder es geht keinen Button um Beiträge mit Bildern zu erstellen. Habe schon mehrfach mein Theme umgestellt. #nerdica
