Watching the latest #NerdForge YouTube video, and the want to move the doors on some flatpack cupboards out a bit.
So, instead of using the adjustability which is designed and built into these hinges, she:
- unscrewed and removed the doors
- unscrewed and removed the hinges
- drilled new mounting holes for the hinges
- remounted the hinges
- remounted the doorsThe designers of the hinges want you to:
- loosen a couple of screws
- adjust the door position
- tighten the screwsSometimes I *hate* YouTube! 🤬

But it turns out: Sending an art print in a non-rigid, rectangular (instead of round) package on an international delivery seems like a suboptimal strategy, with predictable results: it arrived folded and heavily creased, basically impossible to hang now. Let’s see what the support contact of the seller (Juniper Creates) has to say about it.
One would think that a professional merch fulfillment partner would know how to send this stuff in a way where it has a good chance to arrive in one piece… especially on a limited edition print that isn’t cheap.

Good lord #Nerdforge have done a full body #cosplay project, I love it. I mean, I love all their videos but it's so fun watching Martina stumble upon all the things you apparently encounter when making a cosplay, including "and then there is just a bazillion MORE things to do" and for newcomers "omg EVA foam is such a great material to work with". :D Not that I should talk like I know shit, still not having entirely finished the one cosplay I ever attempted!
