Although it’s not the ideal replacement and could use some refinement, the #NeoLauncher appears to be the best alternative to #NovaLauncher for my needs.
I will keep an eye on existing launchers and new arrivals (feel free to suggest any!), but I have more or less switched to Neo (I still have Nova installed out of morbid curiosity).

@UkiahSmith Yeah, switching from one non-FOSS app to another is not a good option, I agree. But all I tried barely do folders at this point.
#FossifyLauncher is extremely bare bones.
The last update for #NeoLauncher was almost two years ago.
#Lawnchair (the new one) seems the most promising, or at least the most active. It now has folders in the app drawer and on the desktop, but they are not connected. Why?!
I keep them all to check updates, but nothing even half as good as Nova exists yet.

Le #blisslaucher de #eos est pas fou.Je suis en train d'essayer #simplelauncher mais il plante dès que je mets en charge mon téléphone.
Autrement je serai bien pour #neolauncher comme le recommande @sebsauvage mais d'après #fdroid il a été mis à jour il y a deux ans ... je ne sais pas si il faut faire confiance du coup.
J'aimais bien #zimlauncher, pourquoi plus de mise à jour 😢

Ich nutze u.a. #NeoLauncher : https://android.izzysoft.de/repo/apk/com.saggitt.omega
damit können dann auch IconPacks wie #Arcticons von @donno https://f-droid.org/de/packages/com.donnnno.arcticons/
oder Mondstern Acrylic Icons von @mondstern https://f-droid.org/de/packages/de.moooon.acrylicons/ genutzt werden.Einfach mal ein paar Launcher installieren und durchprobieren. Den Favoriten dann als Standard-Start-App wählen...

Both #NeoLauncher and #Lawnchair are saying they're about to release a new version of the #AOSP 14 launcher.

Finally got the time to finish my phone theme, pretty happy of how it turned out, I've been working on it since @revengeday published the cyberware OS images, they were intended to be used as boot screens but i had other plans in mind lol :ablobglitch:
Clock and storage widget are both made in KWGT, if someone wants them, dm me and i will send the link to download them (also i can send the assets to replicate my AOD)
The launcher is Neo Launcher, i like it because as i used to do with Nova i can make every icon app in the main page a swipe-up folder
The other parts were all done in Samsung's good lock tools, i didn't share the rest of the lock screen and the App drawer since they are pretty bland and i like them that way :kekw:

Hast Du viele Apps und möchtest Du gruppieren? möchtest Du ein Icon-Pack einbinden? Widgets usw.

Ich persönlich nutze gerne #NeoLauncher oder #ShadeLauncher mit #ArcticonsDark als IconPack
Du kannst ja auch beliebig viele erstmal installieren, dann durchprobieren, bei Gefallen als Standard einstellen

@gschichten @gschichten ich nutze #eOS auch schon länger u.a. auf einem Tablet und habe es auch schon für mehrere Bekannte eingerichtet.
Über den App-Store gab es immer mal wieder Diskussionen, auch im eOS-Forum, wo die Kombination #FDroid + ggf. #AuroraStore empfohlen wurde mit #FDroidFirst.
Ich selbst nutze ausschließlich F-Droid.
Der Launcher soll wohl #iOS nachempfunden sein; den fand ich auch supernervig, aber ist Geschmackssache.
Kannst einfach mal andere Launcher-Apps installieren und dann bei Gefallen als Standard einstellen: bspw. #NeoLauncher oder #ShadeLauncher sind ganz nett

...auch sortiert nach verschiedenen "Zielgruppen" ("ältere Generation", für Tablets optimiert, minimalistische, ...) und mit Angaben zu Trackern und Berechtigungen.
Als Foss -Alternativen, die ähnlich zu #NovaLauncher sein sollen, wurden auch schon mal LawnChair bzw. aktueller dessen Fork #NeoLauncher empfohlen. Letzteren gibt es im IzzyOnDroid-F-Droid-Repo: android.izzysoft.de/repo/apk/c… -
