Finally back home after incredibly impressive two weeks.
At #escmid2026 in Munich we presented our first #NeoIPC Surveillance data and I met a lot of great colleagues we work with.
From there we directly traveled to #Lviv and #IvanoFrankivsk to meet the Friends and Colleagues we collaborate with to exchange ideas and experiences regarding #IPC with support by @GIZ as part of their #HospitalPartnerships program.
I'm thankful for all this support and these wonderful dedicated people in my life ❤

@Gotped @99nicu I'd like to use #NeoIPC for interdisciplinary topics around infection prevention and control in neonatology.
At the moment this also happens to be a EU funded research project but there is a nice clinical practice network growing out of it ( https://neoipc.org/clinical-practice-network/ ) and the hashtag and the network are definitely meant to outlive the funding period of the project.

While I cover the whole field that is typically covered by hospital hygiene (Krankenhaushygiene) in Germany which roughly translates to infection prevention and control (IPC) in the international context, my special interest is IPC and the epidemiology of hospital-acquired infections in preterm neonates.
I'm the scientific coordinator of the German #NEO_KISS (https://www.nrz-hygiene.de/KISS-Modul/KISS/NEO) and leading the MEASURE work package of #NeoIPC (https://neoipc.org/).
