Added a couple of smaller cards to my collection yesterday in the form of Neo Genesis Croconaw and Seadra. I probably paid a little more than I would have normally but at least I had the opportunity to see them in person first.

Last year, a friend gave me this awesome Lugia card from the Japanese Neo Genesis set while we were having a drink at a local coffee shop. It was a card I always remember wanting when I first saw it online in the early 2000s, hoping that someday i'd finally own it, but I never pulled my own card from any booster packs.

Originally I declined it, telling him it was far too generous, but after about twenty minutes, and knowing that I may never see one again, I asked him if he was sure about giving it to me. He handed it over, and the rest is history. It was a generous gift!
