    This Tselepos-Driopi had classic red fruit flavor from Agiorgitiko early on, and power, but time has pulled everything together perfectly. The flavors are more mature, a touch earthier, and the wine is well integrated. It's a beauty, in fact, still firm on the finish, with a backbone. Nice performance, nearing age 15.

    14%, $40-ish.

    But it integrates that well with air and drank great. It's the better wine, but not by as much as I expected and the Areti overachieved. This can still age, but it is great now. Under $25 on release.

    This 2013 Driopi Reserve is all Agiorgitiko, the signature grape of Nemea. Are they worth aging? This is, but which style are you talking about? This is big and deep, not exactly your Gamay-style imitator. From a fine producer, it coats the palate with red fruits nuanced by age and wood, then adds a backbone. It's a fine performance for a grape many like to drink young...but which style? Always the question. #wine #winesofgreece #nemea @ktima_tselepos
