11 days ago Senator Joni Ernst posted an insincere walk-back on YouTube of her previous statement that βwe are all going to die.β She #accused her audience of believing that humans will never face death. That is not the issue. The issue is her disregard for the well-being of all US residents and her disrespect for those who care about the #poor and the #needy.
There is a big difference between dying a natural death and dying because you had no access to healthcare. These two situations are not equal. Ernst went on to compare concerns about bare minimum healthcare #Medicaid and value of a human life to believing in the #ToothFairy. Ernstβs true #cynical, disrespectful convictions were even more emphasized by her recommendation to believe in βher [supposed] Lord and savior, Jesus Christβ. Her attitude could not be more different from the historic Jesus in her disregard for the needy.
I am so glad that Senator #Ernst revealed her true, hard heart and cynicism!
