I would honestly ask the king to reprimand the team (or at least Koeman) for that weak showing. -
Entertaining game. Morocco deserved to win, while the Dutch inexplicably drove with the parking brake on in extra time. While you can’t blame the manager for penalty kick misses, you can absolutely blame them for holding back a team that has more. The Dutch have so much talent, but Morocco played much more cohesively. If not for Verbruggen’s heroics, they lose in regulation.

The better team through, best in at least 4 out of 6 quarters; and 2 out of 5 penalties for the Dutch is dismal.
Safe trip home, Oranje. And hopefully finally the Koeman era is over. At least his last game would have been honorable.

Morocco has been the better team, and I think Koeman has been thoroughly outcoached. The passivity in ET has been essentially waving the white flag and rolling the dice on PKs. The substitutions have been questionable too.

still 1-1, but fifth quarter to Morocco. Verbruggen with one of those saves that makes you wonder how that wasn't in the net. You could read it off the Moroccan's face, too.
