    on the train(s): Bremen (visited old friends) -Leer-(bus)-Groningen-Schiphol (to get new passports, what we can't manage in the Dutch embassy in London). All going surprisingly smooth.

    And Super Sparpries ticket for 1 adult + 1 child costs whopping €19. :-) That's for about 350km.

    Then a flight to Luton.

    Eurostar train prohibitively expensive, especially given how much extra we already had to spend thanks to the anno 2024 Dutch passports SNAFU.

    Ferry from Hoek v. Holland a bit cheaper, but too slow, in particular getting from Harwich to Oxford takes ~4 hours. This used to be better, but probably due to ever increasing car enslavement on both sides of the Channel, nobody cares anymore to create reasonable train connections from/to Harwich. #train #Nederlandse_Spoorwegen #Deutsche_Bahn #AboutToday

    Oproep voor disabled blok tijdens het OV-protest

    Zaterdag 23 september organiseert OV-protest [ovprotest.nl/] om 13 uur
    op het jaarbeursplein in Utrecht een protest voor openbaar vervoer voor
    iedereen.

    Kom naar het disabled blok om zichtbaar te maken dat we geen kleine minderheid
    zijn. en om gelijkgezinden te ontmoeten voor eventuele vervolg acties, wij nemen
    de Mad pride vlag mee als verzamelpunt.
